I found my boat in a 1965 Montgomery Wards Spring Summer catalog. Boat, trailer and motor all listed in the section. The section of the catalog also includes other motors, aluminum boats and accessories. I scanned these to save them.... the catalog is musty!! But, at least I was able to scan the entire section pg. 798 - 818.

i have what i believe to be a 1965 sea king 17 foot cuddy cabin with a 80hp sea king out board do you have pitures of this one? jeremyhandlon@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteHello.... sorry Jeremy there were not any cuddy cabins in this version of the Wards catalog. You might want to take some pictures and post them in the forum on Fiberglassics.com..... those guys are pretty good at helping pin down the year or tips to help figure it out. I think they have a few pictures there of some other years.
DeleteI have a 1965 Sea King 14' fiberglass runabout. Do you have any interior pics or specs from the catalog or some "action" marketing photos from the catalog? Want to put in some seats and would like to see the original. Also wondering about accessory options for steering wheel and throttle/shifter control. On the boat is the 1965 50 hp Sea King Outboard along with the original 1966 Sea King Trailer.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
Did you find info on your 65? I have one also
DeleteCan you give me the specs for the 10' jon boat in this catalogue? I can't read it. I tried to blow it up but it got blurry. Thanks
